As I was raking leaves a couple of weeks ago, I got caught up in the rhythm of sounds from the rake on the ground and the leaves still falling from the tree. I’ve raked plenty of leaves in my lifetime, but I had never paid any attention to the soft sound of leaves falling to the ground.
